Job Duties

The role:
Receipt, booking in and validation of goods received against purchase orders.
Operating forklift when required.
Picking of stock according to stock requisitions & Issuing stock to the production area following stock issue procedure on the system.
Recording goods issued and returned to stock.
Performing regular stock checks to maintain stock accuracy, completing requisitions and submitting stock re-orders.
Maintenance of the stock system data.
Reporting any discrepancies to stores manager / stores co-ordinator.

Qualifications/ Experience

Essential Criteria:
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C (or equivalent).
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work on their own initiative.
To be competent with computerised systems and possess excellent computer skills.
Strong administration and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Experience working as part of a team.
Must be flexible and willing to work bank holidays and weekends.
Must be flexible to work shifts.

Desirable criteria:
At least 1 years experience in a busy stores environment.

Rate of pay: £7.20 p/h

Work time: 4 day rotational shift 06:00-18:00 approx

Minimum Age: 18 (due to working time regulations)

Required Language: Very good English
